26% With tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) palladium(0); potassium carbonate; In 1,4-dioxane; water; at 110℃;Inert atmosphere; 2-Bromophenylboronic acid, 6.00 g (29.9 mmol), tert-butyl 4-bromo-1H-pyrazole-1 - carboxylate, 3.69 g (14.9 mmol), potassium carbonate, 8.26 g (59.8 mmol), and tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) palladium(O), 1.22 g (1.5 mmol), were added into 60 ml. of 1,4- dioxane/water (5:1, v:v). The resulting mixture was stirred at 1 10C for overnight under nitrogen atmosphere. After cooled to room temperature, water was added and the resulting mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate and the combined organic layers were dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to give 2.00 g (26%) of the product as a light yellow solid. MS (ESIpos): m/z = 223 [M+H]+. LC-MS [method 4, gradient starting with water (0.05%TFA)-Acetonitrile, 5%B]: Rt = 0.96 min.
