In hexane; at 25℃; for 0.5h;Mechanism; In a glove box, to a mixture of <strong>[1295-35-8]Ni(cod)2</strong> (27.5 mg, 0.1 mmol; 1.0 equiv) and IPr (38.9 mg,0.1 mmol; 1.0 equiv) in hexane (0.5 mL) was added 2-trifluoromethylbenzothiazole (20.3mg, 0.1 mmol). The immediately formed precipitate was collected by filtration after 30 minutes, and washed with hexane (3 x 3 mL). From 1H and 13C analyses, the obtainedcomplex was analytically pure. A good crystal suitable for the X-ray analysis wasobtained by the recrystallization from toluene at -30 C.
