ML-SA5 is an agonist of TRPML1 and MCOLN1, which activates TRPML1(ML1) current in DMD myocytes, and its EC50 value is 285 nM, which is higher than that of ML-SA1. ML-SA5 can also interfere with the fusion between autophagy and lysosome and block autophagy.
