Armepavine is an active compound isolated from Nelumbo nucifera, with anti-inflammatory effects. It exerts immunosuppressive actions on human peripheral blood mononuclear cells and inhibits TNF-α-induced MAPK and NF-κB signaling in T lymphocytes and lupus nephritis mice.
