Cedrol is a sesquiterpene found in cedarwood oil with anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and antifungal activities. It inhibits cytochrome P450 enzyme activity, mainly CYP2B6 and CYP3A4, with weaker effects on CYP2C8, CYP2C9, and CYP2C19, significantly impacting drug metabolism.
