YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With pyridinium hydrobromide perbromide; In methanol; at 25℃; for 16h; To a mixture of [54439-75-7]2-[54439-75-7]chloro-4-methoxybenzaldehyde (1 g, 5.86 mmol, 1.00 equiv) in methanol (10 mL) was added pyridinium bromide perbromide (3.7 g, 1 1.61 mmol, 1.98 equiv). The reaction mixture was stirred for 16 h at 25°C. Water was added and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate thrice. The combined extracts were washed with brine and dried over Na2S04, then concentrated to yield 5-bromo-[54439-75-7]2-[54439-75-7]chloro-4-methoxybenzaldehyde as a white solid.
