YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
55% With tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) palladium(0); tetraethylammonium hydroxide; tricyclohexylphosphine; In toluene; at 85℃; for 36h;Inert atmosphere; Reflux; Compound 2 (300 mg, 0.306 mmol), naphthalene-2-boronic acid pinacol ester (170 mg, 0.673 mmol), Pd(PPh3)4 (18 mg, 0.153mmol), and tricyclohexyl phosphine (0.3 mg, 8.6 mmol), were dissolved in toluene (15 mL), followed by addition of tetraethylammonium hydroxide (1.2 mL). The solution was refluxed at 85 C for 36 h. The reaction was quenched by adding water and extracted with dichloromethane The combined organic layer was washed with a saturated aqueous NaCl solution, dried over magnesium sulfate and concentrated. The crude product was purifiedby column chromatography (silica gel, hexane/dichloromethane 3/1), to give a red solid. (180 mg, Yield: 55%) 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3, ppm): 9.20 (d, 2H), 8.0 (s, 2H), 7.80 (b, 6H) 7.69 (d, 2H), 7.4 (b, 4H), 7.3 (d, 2H), 7.0 (s, 2H), 3.6 (d, 4H), 1.95-1.86 (b, 2H), 1.39-1.06 (b, 67H), 0.76 (b, 12H). Elemental analysis: Calc?d: C75 H102N2 O2, C 84.70 %; H 9.73 %; N 2.60 % . Found: C 84.72 %; H 9.32 %; N 1.71 %.
