YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
77% With potassium tert-butylate; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at -60℃; for 0.5h; General procedure: A solution of 2 (1.0 mmol) and 3 (1.0 mmol) in DMF (1.5 mL) was added dropwise to a solution of tBuOK (4.0 mmol) in DMF (2.0 mL) at an appropriate temperature. The reaction was quenched after stirring for 10-30 min by addition of aqueous HCl (1 M, 10 mL), followed by extraction with CH2Cl2. The combined organic layers were washed with brine (15 mL), dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography to provide the desired product 4.
