YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
95% With triethylamine; In chloroform; at 60℃; for 48h; )._A solution of the solid from above (500 mg, 5.00 mmol), benzyl chloride (0.569 mL, 5.00 mmol), and TEA (0.69 mL, 5.00 mmol) in CHC13 (5.00 mL) was stirred at 60 C for 48 hours . EtOAc (50.0 mL) and 1M aq HCl (50.0 mL) were added. The aq phase was extracted with CHC13 (3X50 mL), and the combined organic phases were washed with brine (50 mL), dried over MgS04, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure to provide the title compound as a solid (0.894 g, 95%) 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDC13) delta 7.44-7.28 (m, 5H), 4.68 (s, 2H), 4.67 (s, 3H).
