YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With platinum(IV) oxide; hydrogen; acetic acid; In methanol; at 20℃; for 16h; To a solution of 1 -methyl-6-oxopiperidine-3-carboxylic acid (0.130 g, 0.85 mmol) in methanol (8 mL) and acetic acid (2.0 ml_) at room temperature was added platinum(IV) oxide (0.100 g). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 16 h under hydrogen atmosphere. The reaction solution was filtered and concentrated to afford 1 -methyl-6-oxopiperidine-3-carboxylic acid (0.135 g, crude) as a white solid. LCMS (ESI) m/z: 1 58.2 [M+H]+.
