3-Guanidinopropionic acid/Ompenaclid (RGX-202) is an orally active SLC6A8 transporter inhibitor. It effectively inhibits cellular uptake of creatine, significantly reducing intracellular phosphocreatine and ATP levels, thereby inducing apoptosis in tumor cells.
