YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With platinum(IV) oxide; hydrogen; triethylamine; In methanol; at 50℃; under 2585.81 Torr; for 48h; A mixture of compound 40-A (Durham, T. B.; Miller, M. J. Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2003, 68, 27. ; 200 g, 1.28 mol, 1.0 eq.), Pt02(6.8 g) and TEA (4 mL) in MeOH (1000 mL) was stirred at 50C for 48 hours under 50 psi H2atmosphere. TLC (EA) showed the reaction was completed. The mixture was filtered and concentrated in vacuo to give compound 40-B (200 g, crude) as a yellow solid, which was used directly in the next step without purification.
