Stage #1: acetic acid 2,4-difluorophenyl ester With aluminium trichloride at 20 - 70℃; Stage #2: at 140℃; for 1.5h;
1.5 g With aluminum (III) chloride at 150℃; for 0.5h; Inert atmosphere; Intermediate 363: A mixture of intermediate 362 (2 g, 11.6 mmoles) and AlCl3 (2.8 g) is heated under argon at 150° C. for 30 minutes. After return to ambient temperature, there are added carefully ice and then a 1N aqueous HCl solution. The mixture is decanted in the presence of toluene, and the organic phase is washed with water and then with a saturated aqueous NaCl solution. After drying, evaporation under reduced pressure yields intermediate 363 in the form of a solid (1.5 g). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3): δ 12.00 (m, 1H), 7.25 (m, 1H), 7.10 (m, 1H), 2.65 (s, 3H). IR (cm-1): 1651
84.a 6,8-Difluoro-4-(N-Ethylsulfonyl-N-Methyl)Amino-2,2-Dimethyl-Chroman a) 3,5-Difluoro-2-hydroxyacetophenone is obtained analogously to the procedure indicated in Example 63 b) from 2,4-difluorophenyl acetate and anhydrous, active aluminum chloride.
