YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With Lawessons reagent In 1,4-dioxane at 60℃; for 2h; 42.2 The amide (See Step 1, 400 mg, 2.52 mmol) was dissolved in 1,4-dioxanβ (3 mL). The mixture was heated at 60 0C until a clear solution results. Lawesson's reagent (508 mg, 1.26 mmol) was added and the mixture stirred at 60 0C for 2 hours. The solution was allowed to cool to room temperature and the solvent was removed in vac. The residue was poured saturated NaHCO3:water (1:1 , 200 mL), followed by aqueous/EtOAc work-up and silica gel chromatography (EtOAc: hexanes (2:3)) to give the titled compound.
