YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
To a solution of the previous diacid (3 g, 12.2 mmol) in DMF (100 mL) was added carbonyl diimidazole (1.98 g, 12.2 mmol) and the reaction mixture was stirred at 50 °C for 85 min. DBU (1.83 mL, 12.2 mmol) and tBuOH (2.3 mL, 24.5 mmol) were added and the reaction mixture was stirred at 50 °C for 16 h. Carbonyl diimidazole (2 g) and 4 A sieves were added and the reaction mixture was stirred at 50 °C for 30 min. DBU (2 mL) and tBuOH (10 mL) were added and the reaction mixture was stirred at 50 °C for 4.5 h. The reaction mixture was diluted with 10percent KHSO4, filtered on celite, extracted with EtOAc, washed with aq LiCl (x3), dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated in vacuo to provide the corresponding mono tBu ester
