YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
97% With potassium carbonate; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at 20℃; for 12h; To a solution of 3 -nitro- 1 H-pyrrole (2.2 g, 19.63 mmol) in DMF (40 ml) was added K2CO3 (5.43 g, 39.26 mmol) and Mel (2.44 ml, 39.26 mmol) and the mixture stirred at rt for 12 h. The solution was diluted with water (50 ml) and extracted with ethyl acetate (3 x 50 ml). The combined organic phases were washed with brine (20 ml), dried with anhydrous Na2S04, filtered and concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound as a yellow solid (Y = 97 %). *H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-rfe) d = 7.91 (t, J = 2Hz, 1H), 6.87 (t, J= 3 Hz, 1H), 6.73 - 6.59 (m, 1H), 3.70 (s, 3H).
