Recombinant Human IL-4 (Mammalian) is a human-derived protein expressed in mammalian cells without tags. This protein, also known as interleukin-4, is a pleiotropic cytokine that regulates various responses of T and B cells, including cell proliferation, survival, and gene expression. It is produced by mast cells, T cells, and bone marrow stromal cells, and promotes the differentiation of naïve CD4+ T cells into Th2 cells. It also modulates immunoglobulin class switching to IgG1 and IgE, and its overproduction is associated with allergic reactions.

Synonyms: Recombinant Human IL-4 (Mammalian); Interleukin-4; IL-4
