Bisdemethoxycurcumin is a natural demethoxy derivative isolated and purified from curcumin. Bisdemethoxycurcumin suppresses proliferation in cancer cells. It down-regulates the transcriptional coactivator p300, suppressing the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, and inhibits LPS induction of iNOS expression.
