The BI-3802 was designed by Boehringer Ingelheim and could be obtained free of charge through the Boehringer Ingelheim open innovation portal opnMe.com, associated with its negative control.
Corylin is an orally active flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and osteogenic properties, inhibiting IL-6-induced STAT3 promoter activity and STAT3 phosphorylation. Corylin also exhibits anticancer, anti-atherosclerotic activities, and improves hyperlipidemia and insulin resistance by inducing adipocyte browning and lipolysis through SIRT1 or β3-AR dependent pathways.
