IMT1B (LDC203974) is an orally active, noncompetitive, and specific allosteric inhibitor of mitochondrial RNA polymerase (POLRMT), leading to the inhibition of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) expression. IMT1B exhibits anti-tumor effects [1].
