Magnolol is a multifunctional compound isolated from the Chinese medicinal plant Magnolia officinalis, with antifungal, antibacterial and antioxidant effects, as well as anti-inflammatory activity by interferring with NF-κB signaling and inhibiting IL-6-induced STAT3 activation.
