Recombinant Mouse CD30 (C-6His, HEK293) is a mouse-derived recombinant protein expressed in HEK293 human cells and tagged with a C-terminal 6×His tag. This protein, also known as TNFRSF8, belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily and functions as a membrane-bound protein regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and antibody responses. It is predominantly expressed on activated T and B lymphocytes. Aberrant expression of CD30 is associated with systemic mastocytosis, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and classical Hodgkin lymphoma. This recombinant protein serves as a key biomarker for antibody-drug conjugate targeting therapies and functional studies of soluble CD30 (sCD30).

Synonyms: Recombinant Mouse CD30 (C-6His, HEK293); Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 8; CD30L receptor

Biological Activity

Description
CD30, also known as TNFRSF8, is a cell membrane protein of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family, which regulates proliferation/apoptosis and antibody responses. CD30 is expressed by activated, but not by resting, T and B cells. Aberrant expression of CD30 by mastocytosis mast cells and interaction with its ligand CD30L (CD153) appears to play an important role in the pathogenesis and clinical presentation of systemic mastocytosis. CD30 has been considered as a specific diagnostic biomarker of anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL). CD30 is also a biomarker used for targeted therapy by an antibody–drug conjugate. Soluble CD30 retains the ability to bind CD30 Ligand and functions as an inhibitor of normal CD30 signaling.
Protein Species Mouse
Expression System Human Cells
Tag C-6His
Protein Expression Interval Phe19-Thr281
Protein ID Q60846
Endotoxin < 1 EU/µg as determined by LAL test.
Characteristics Lyophilized powder
Formulation Description Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution Method Always centrifuge tubes before opening.Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
For long-term storage, it is recommended to further dilute the product with a solution containing carrier proteins (e.g., 0.1% BSA, 10% FBS, or 5% HSA). For serum-free cultures or in vivo animal experiments where BSA, FBS, or HSA cannot be present in the cytokine preparation, trehalose may be used as an alternative carrier. Aliquots should be stored frozen at -20°C to -80°C.
Note: Low-adsorption tubes are recommended for aliquot storage, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. The dilution concentration for aliquoting should not be lower than 10 μg/mL, and the aliquot volume should be no less than 10 μL.
Aliquoted protein remains stable for up to 3 months when stored at ≤ -20°C.
