PF9601N is a monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B) inhibitor with neuroprotective effects, validated in various in vitro and in vivo models of Parkinson's disease (PD). PF9601N can be used for studying excitotoxicity-mediated neurodegenerative diseases and also serves as a click chemistry reagent containing an alkyne group, allowing for copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reactions with azide-containing molecules.
