RGD peptide (GRGDNP) is an inhibitor of integrin-ligand interactions, competitively inhibiting the binding of α5β1 to the extracellular matrix (ECM). RGD peptide (GRGDNP) promotes apoptosis by enhancing the conformational change for pro-caspase-3 activation and autoprocessing. It plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, growth, and differentiation.
