Biological Activity

Description
Rheb inhibitor NR1 exhibits an IC50 of 2.1 µM in the Rheb-IVK assay. It directly binds Rheb in the switch II domain, selectively inhibiting the activation of mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). NR1 inhibits T389pS6K1 phosphorylation by mTORC1 and enhances S473pAKT phosphorylation dose-dependently. It does not affect mTORC2 activity [1].
