SirReal2 is an effective, homotypic selective Sirt2 inhibitor with an IC50 value of 140 nM and minimal activity against Sirt3-5. SirReal2 leads to high acetylation of tubulin proteins and destabilization of checkpoint protein BubR1 in HeLa cells.
