RAW264.7 cells 5 μM 48 h Skatole significantly increased the expression of Cd206 and inhibited LPS-induced inflammatory factors such as Il6 and Il1b, suggesting its ability to promote M2 macrophage polarization and inhibit M1 macrophage polarization. Research (Wash D C). 2025 Feb 3;8:0604.
HT-29 human colon cancer cells 250, 500, 750, 1000 µM 24 h To investigate the effect of Skatole on HT-29 cell viability, results showed a significant decrease in cell viability at concentrations of 750 and 1000 µM. Antioxidants (Basel). 2022 Dec 14;11(12):2458.
Caco-2 cells 1000 µM 6 h To investigate the effect of Skatole on IL-6 and TNF-α expression in Caco-2 cells. Results showed that Skatole significantly increased the promoter activity, mRNA expression, and protein secretion of IL-6 and TNF-α. Cells. 2024 Oct 18;13(20):1730.

Dissolving Methods
Please choose the appropriate dissolution scheme according to your animal administration guide.For the following dissolution schemes, clear stock solution should be prepared according to in vitro experiments, and then cosolvent should be added in turn:

in order to ensure the reliability of the experimental results, the clarified stock solution can be properly preserved according to the storage conditions; The working fluid for in vivo experiment is recommended to be prepared now and used on the same day;

The percentage shown in front of the following solvent refers to the volume ratio of the solvent in the final solution; If precipitation or precipitation occurs in the preparation process, it can be assisted by heating and/or ultrasound.
