YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With potassium carbonate; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at 50℃; for 2h; To a stirring suspension of [1003-61-8]2-aminothiazole-5-carbaldehyde SM 1 (128 mg, 1 mmol) and K2C03 (346 mg, 2.5 mmol) in DMF (1 mL) was added iodomethane (284mg, 2 mmol) and heated to 50C for 2 h. After consumption of the starting material (by TLC), the reaction mixture was diluted with water and extracted with EtOAc. Combined organic extracts were dried overanhydrous Na2504 and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain crude compound 1 (155 mg,100%) as a yellow solid, which was used for next step directly. LC-MS: m/z = 157.0 [M+H]
