YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
98% With sodium tris(acetoxy)borohydride; In 1,2-dichloro-ethane; at 20℃; for 3h; Stage 4 - Reductive amination; Stage 3 product (650mg, 2.70mmol) was stirred in DCE (2OmL), intermediate A (634mg, 2.70mmol) and NaBH(OAc)3 (918mg, 4.33mmol) at RT under a nitrogen atmosphere for 3h. After this time the reaction was diluted with H2O (5OmL) and extracted with Et2O (2 x 10OmL). The combined organic extracts were dried (MgSO4) and solvent removed in vacuo to give the product as a brown oil which was used in the next step without further purification (1.1g, 98percent). m/z = 419 [M+H]+.
