45% With acetic anhydride; toluene-4-sulfonic acid; In toluene; at 110℃; General procedure: To a stirred solution of diethyl phosphoramidate (154 mg,1 mmol), TsOH (8.6 mg, 0.05 mmol), acetic anhydride (4.8 mL,0.05 mmol) in 3 mL of toluene was added the aldehyde (1 mmol), the maleimide (1 mmol). The solution was stirred under reflux for24 h, and then the solvent was removed under vacuum. The crude of the reaction was purified with flash chromatography to give the desired compound.
