56% To a mixture of compounds 30 and 31 (500 mg, 825 umol) in toluene (25.00 mL) was added Pd (PPh 3) 4 (275 mg, 250 umol) under an atmosphere of nitrogen. The mixture was heated to reflux overnight and then concentrated. The residue was purified by preparative HPLC to afford compounds 32 and 33 (together 275 mg, 56%total yield) as a yellow solid.
