YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With silver(l) oxide; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at 20.0℃; -Methoxy-5-methyl-isoxazole To a solution of compound 5-Methyl-isoxazol-3-one (0.5 g, 5.0 mmol) and Ag20 (1.1 g, 10.0 mmol) in DMF (15 mL) is added iodomethane (0.7 g, 5.0 mmol) at room temperature. Then the reaction mixture is stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The mixture is concentrated in vacuo to give product as an oil without further purification. Yield: 0.60g crude
