83% With tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) palladium(0); caesium carbonate; In 1,4-dioxane; water; at 80℃; for 8h; General procedure: To a solution of (S)-11 (500 mg, 2.05 mmol) in dioxane (10 mL) and water (1 mL) was added (4-chlorophenyl)boronic acid (480 mg, 3.07 mmol), Cs2CO3 (1.67 g, 5.12 mmol) and Pd(PPh3)4 (231 mg, 0.20 mmol). The resulting mixture was heated to 80 C for 8 h. After filtering, the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo and purified by column chromatography (ethyl acetate: petroleum ether =1:5) to give compound(S)-13(453 mg, 80%) as a white solid.
