The vessel was sealed and the mixture was heated to 110 0C for 3 days. The reaction mixture was poured onto EtOAc and water. The layers were separated and the aqueous layer was further extracted with more EtOAc. The combined organic layer was washed with brine, dried (MgSO4), filtered and concentrated. Purification by flash chromatography on silica gel (0 - 30% EtOAc/hexanes) afforded the desired product (2.8 g, 50%) as a white solid. LC-MS (ES) m/z = 349, 351 [M+H]+.
