The mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature and then heated to 80 0C for 3 days. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried (MgSO4), filtered and concentrated. Purification by flash chromatography on silica gel (0 - 30 % ethyl acetate (EtOAc)/hexanes) afforded the desired product (7.1 g, 96%) as a white solid. LC-MS (ES) m/z = 251 , 253 and 255 [M+H]+. |
