YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With triethylamine; In dichloromethane; at 20℃; for 72h; A suspension of allyl glycine (5.0 g, 43.4 mmol) in dry DCM (60 mL) is treated with triethylamine (9 mL, 69.4 mmol) and cooled to 0 0C. To this mixture is added a cooled solution of di-tert-buty dicarbonate (12.3 g, 56.7 mmol) in dry DCM (30 mL) and the resulting mixture is allowed to warm to RT and stirred for 3 days. The mixture is washed twice with 2M HCl(aq) and the organic portion is separated, dried (MgSC^) and concentrated in vacuo to afford the title compound as a light-green oil which is used in the next step without further purification
