YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
40.8% The 16g (0.05mol) decyl glucoside dissolved in 4 ml water and 25 ml in mixed solvent of isopropanol, in 50 C conditions by adding 2.8g (0.07mol) sodium hydroxide, alkalise 1 hour later, by adding 13.76g3-chloro-2-hydroxy propane sulfonic acid sodium, in the 70 C constant temperature reaction under the conditions of 5 hours, to obtain decyl glucoside sodium sulfonate, separating and purifying the resulting product, calculated to yield 40.8%.
