To a solution of 2 (29.3mg, 0.092mmol) in CH2Cl2/MeOH (10mL) was added a filtered solution of [(μ-(±)binap)Au2(CF3CO2)2] (0.092mmol), prepared from [Au2(μ-(±)binap)Cl2] (0.100g, 0.092mmol) and AgO2CCF3 (0.041g, 0.184mmol) in CH2Cl2 (10mL). The solvent was removed and the crude product was dissolved in a minimum of CH2Cl2. The compound was precipitated from solution as a white powder by addition of pentane. The powder was collected by filtration, washed with pentane, and dried under vacuum. Yield 0.106g, 74%; |
