43% With copper(l) iodide; palladium diacetate; triethylamine; triphenylphosphine; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at 50℃; for 2h;Inert atmosphere; Microwave irradiation; General procedure: To a solution of aryl halide (0.5 mmol, 1 equiv.) and alkyne acid (1-1.5 mmol, 2-3 equiv.) in DMF (3 mL), was added copper (I) iodide (0.025 mmol, 0.05 equiv.), palladium (II) acetate (0.05 mmol, 0.1 equiv.), triphenylphosphine (0.05 mmol, 0.1 equiv.) and triethylamine (1 mmol, 2 equiv.) under argon atmosphere. The mixture was heated at 50 C for 2 hours by microwave irradiation. Treatment and purification: After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture was diluted with water (10 mL) and extracted with diethyl ether (3 * 10 mL). The combined organic phases were washed with brine (2 * 20 mL), dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel with petroleum ether/ethyl acetate (100:0 to 90:10) as eluent.
