YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
18.5% In methanol; at 20℃; for 24h; Example 11 N-tert-Butyl-C- (pyridin-2-yloxy) methyl nitrone (Pyridin-2-yloxy) acetaldehyde (250 mg, 1.82 mmol) and tert-butyl hydroxyl amine hydrochloride (326 mg, 2.19 mmol) in methanol (5mL) were stirred together at ambient temperature for 24 hrs. The mixture was then concentrated to dryness, the crude mixture was dissolved in ethyl acetate (15 ml), washed with water (2 x 20 ml), dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated and the crude product was chromatographed on silica gel to obtain the title compound (70 mg, 18.5percent). MS: m/z = 209 (MH+).
