YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
79% With boron tribromide; In dichloromethane; at -40℃; for 2h; To a solution of Example 4d (1.1 g, 7.1 mmol) in DCM (22 mL) was added 10 mL of BBr3/DCM (1.0 M, 10.0 mmol) dropwise at -40 °C. The reaction mixture was stirred at the same temperature for 2 h. TLC showed the starting material was consumed completely. The reaction was quenched by adding 20 mL of methanol carefully, and the solvent was then removed under reduced pressure. The residue was further purified by silica gel chromatography, eluting with 15percent-45percent of EtOAc in Petroleum Ether, to give the desired product (Example 4e, 0.52 g, yield 79percent) as yellow solid.
