77% With potassium carbonate; In acetone; for 4h; General procedure: Firstly, 5-((4-chlorophenyl)amino)-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thiol (2) (0.83 mmol), appropriate2-bromoacetophenone (0.83 mmol), and potassium carbonate (0.83 mmol, 0.11 g) as a catalyst werestirred for 4 h in acetone (20 mL). The acetone was evaporated under reduced pressure after completionof the reaction. The precipitated product was washed with water in order to remove potassiumcarbonate, before being dried and recrystallized from EtOH [39].
