100% With potassium carbonate; para-thiocresol In acetonitrile at 20℃; for 0.75h; Sonication; General procedure: A mixture of α-halocarbony1 compound (1.0 mmol), thiol(2.25 mmol), potassium salt (1.2 mmol) in acetonitrile (5 mL)was stirred at room temperature and in the open atmospherein a glass reactor. The completion of reaction was monitoredby TLC. The reaction mixture was filtered, and evaporation ofthe filtrate under reduced pressure followed by preparative thinlayer chromatography on silica gel afforded the pure products.Among them, compounds 2b and 2c are new.
