The mixture was stirred at 100C under 90 atms H2 atmosphere for 12 h. The reaction mixture, after completion of the reaction, was analysed by GC and 2,5-bis(aminomethyl) tetrahydrofuran was obtained in 82% yield whilethe bicyclic compound 8-oxa-3-azabicyclo[3.2.1] octane appeared as byproduct in 6% yield.
