YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
100% With hydrazine hydrate; In ethanol; at 80℃; To a stirred solution of the product of Step A (700 mg, 1.95 mmol) in EtOH (20 mL) was added N 2H 4. H 2O (195 mg, 3.9 mmol) . After addition, the reaction was stirred at 80 overnight. The reaction was concentrated to give the residue, which was washed with EtOAc (40 mL) and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated to give the target compound (460 mg, 100%) as colorless syrup. MS: M/e 230 (M+1) +.
93% With hydrazine hydrate; In ethanol; at 70℃; for 20h; General procedure: A solution of the N-substituted phthalimide (2.00 mmol) and hydrazine hydrate (80% in water, 2 mL) in ethanol (20 mL) was stirred at 70 C for 20 h. The mixture was cooled to room temperature, the precipitate was filtered off and the solvent was evaporated in vacuo yielding a residue, which was used without further purification
