YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With caesium carbonate; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at 65℃; General procedure: A suspension of the phenol, 3-fluoropropyl p-toluenesulfonate, and cesium carbonate in dimethylformamide was heated to 60-65° C. and maintained overnight. After cooling to ambient temperature, the resulting mixture was treated with water, and the aqueous layer extracted with ethyl acetate. The combined organic layers were washed with water, saturated aqueous sodium chloride, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo.
