YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With bis-triphenylphosphine-palladium(II) chloride; copper(l) iodide; triethylamine; In tetrahydrofuran; at 20℃; General procedure: General Procedure A: To the solution of PdCl2(PPh3)2 (2 mol%, 0.2 mmol), CuI (6mol%, 0.6 mmol), Et3N (4 mL) and the corresponding aryl iodide (1.05 eq., 10.5 mmol)in THF (12 mL), 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol (1.0 eq., 10 mmol) was added dropwise and the mixture was stirred at room temperature. Upon the completion, the reaction mixture was quenched with sat. NH4Cl aq. and extracted three times with Et2O. The combined organic layers were washed with brine and dried over Na2SO4. After the solvent was removed under reduced pressure, the residue was purified by column chromatography (SiO2, eluent: hexane/EtOAc) to afford the desired starting material (1b-1f, 1l, 1m, 1o,1p).
