YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
72% With palladium diacetate; 1,2-bis-(diphenylphosphino)ethane; potassium hydroxide; In toluene; at 80℃; for 12h;Inert atmosphere; Sealed tube; General procedure: Under nitrogen atmosphere Pd(OAc)2 (3.5 mg, 5 mol %), dppe (12.45 mg, 10 mol %), KOH (173.9 mg, 10 equiv), toluene (1 mL), 3-iodo-2-phenylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine (100 mg, 0.31 mmol), benzylamines (49.2 muL, 0.40 mmol), and chloroform (71.2 muL, 0.93 mmol) were added to a pressure tube sealed tightly and stirred vigorously at 80 C for 12 h. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was filtered through ordinary filter paper. The filtrate was extracted with ethyl acetate, washed with water and ethylacetate fraction was collected by using separatory funnel. The ethylacetate layer was dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated under reduced pressure by rotavapor. The residue was charged on to chromatography (100-200 mesh silica gel) column and eluted with EtOAc-hexane to afford pure 3a (270.81 mg, 75%). All the remaining reactions were performed following this general procedure.
