YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With di-isopropyl azodicarboxylate; triphenylphosphine; In tetrahydrofuran; at 0 - 20℃; for 12h; General procedure: To a solution of cyclopentanols 11, 12, 25-27 (1 mmol) andtriphenylphosphine (1.5 mmol) in THF (10 mL) was added3-deazaadenines 13, 17, or 18 (1 mmol). This suspension wascooled to 0 C and DIAD (1.5 mmol) added dropwise. After completionof the addition, the reaction mixture was warmed to roomtemperature and stirred at this temperature for 12 h. The solventwas removed under reduced pressure and the residue purified bycolumn chromatography (hexanes/EtOAc, 3:1) to afford 19-23and 28-30, which are contaminated with DIAD byproducts.
